STORY OF A SMALL ROOM

STORY OF A SMALL ROOM
M.Arch Thesis 2015

A Plan, Multiple 90 Degree Axons and Multiple Constructed 2 Point Perspectives

Back story: small room where two brothers lived in a dense urban context. Due to the lack of space, privacy was constantly debated and sometimes temporally practiced relying on social agreements and deep belief of its importance.

The architecture is constructed from the point of view of the two brothers who shared the room, it is also further composed from the point of view of the neighbors, the “watchers” of the tight urban fabric where the building existed. It is debate about privacy, a life on display.
